Always Thinking About Work!

Just look at the photo of Mike's truck I borrowed in Portland to bring treasures home to Ashland. My work is cut out for me to process all this stuff for my booth at Collector's Market. Eric helped me unload it mostly onto the front porch and its still awaiting attention. But in Salem, I couldn't resist a solid oak pedistal table with leaves and 4 chairs for $63. Or the antique chest of drawers for $12. And those 5 pink industrial metal hanging lights...mue bueno. Gawd, and the set of floral cushions I've been looking for forever so I can outfit a wicker sofa I want to sell...hey, the little primitive wood tote sold before I even got it into my booth.
Okay, so tons of other stuff like hanging wall shelves, a vintage wood magazine holder, double wire bicycle baskets (I need those for my decorative vintage bike outside...you know, to hold flowers), a stained glass window and a floral ribbon bulletin board and a cowboy horseshoe sculpture...I mean, these are all cool and collectible. Did I mention the porcelain and wood spice rack from some long ago kitchen? Hooboy, if you're gonna have that kinda attitude, I'm not even gonna tell you about the good stuff!
By the way, it took 2 men to load the table at the GW but Eric just walked up to the SIDE of the truck, reached in and picked up that oak pedistal sucker and carried it to the porch where he flipped it over and set it down...and I'm telling you that truck is pretty high due to the giant tires!
